January - Carin

Since the year has recently started, I decided a monthly series of portraits of girls, starting with this one, for January.

The main goal here is to hone my coloring skills, by having a lot of time to color a simple piece.

Ironically, this actually took me less than a week to do - I did the sketch and lineart the other day, and I colored it a bit everyday after work, during this last week.

I experimented a bit with filters and custom brushes on this one. It was fun to make.
